Damon Buffas was born October 31, 1993. He died unexpectedly of unknown cause on October 16, 2023.
He is the cherished son of Lillian Buffas and the late Sterling Buffas. He is the fiancé of Shyla Earnshaw and the father for their two children Bella and Angelo.
He is the grandson of Nancy and the late Victor Goldsberry, Angelo and Edna Buffas.
He is a 2013 graduate of AVAIL High School in Anchorage.
He is survived by siblings Skylar, Dalton, Daniel, Starvos Buffas and Anna Burmeister. He especially enjoyed spending time with Bella and Angelo and hanging out with his brother Skylar.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Mini Convention Center in Nome, at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring in Nome.
