New Arrival: Malaki Tre’ Kian Roman Aghvighqughvik Akiiya

Lila R. Akeya and Timothy L. Gologergen of Savoonga announce the birth of their son Malaki Tre’ Kian Roman Aghvighqughvik Akiiya, born Nov. 11, 2019 at Norton Sound Regional Hospital in Nome at 4:02 a.m. He weighted 9 lbs and 7 oz and was 21 ½ inches in length. He joins older sister Cheyanne Akeya, 2. His maternal grandparents are Thomas and Linda Akeya; (the late Dean and Gloria Kulowiyi and great grandparents, the late Dorcas Bloom and Calvin Akeya Sr.). Paternal grandparents are LeAnn Gologergen, late great grandparents are the late Ada Niksik, Lee Gologergen and Vera Reynolds.
